As the winter is now really hitting us and with it being cold and wet outside, like most keen golfer’s you want to keep working on your game so you’re not rusty when the spring comes around.

A great little putting drill for indoors, is to take two balls. Stroke the first one about 3 feet away and then go with the second ball and your aim is to have this second ball barely touch the first ball. What this will do is get you focused on speed control as well as direction. A really simple drill that is going to help your speed control come the spring.

Give it a go it’s harder than you think and if you do find it to easy just make the putts that little bit longer. Altering the distance of putt will also really help you improve your tempo.
