This weeks Liverpool Alliance was being played at Bromborough golf club. The course is located in part of the Leverhulme Estate on the Wirral, it is over 100 years old and hosted the English Amateur Matchplay Championship in 2005.
With the last few days starting with light frosts it was pleasing to wake up to find not a touch of frost and blue sky. A cold breeze kept us aware that it was still winter though.
The day was an equal mix of birdies and bogies ending up in a round of level par. I made three birdies with the highlight being a chip in on the par 3 6th. This left me in a tie for 2nd place and as a team we managed 43pts which also put us in 2nd place.
